CBS responds to Pauley Perrette claims

Updated: Producers acknowledge a "workplace concern" for former NCIS star following her statements on social media.

CBS has responded to claims made by former NCIS star Pauley Perrette alleging “multiple physical assaults.”

She tweeted to her 726,000 followers that there were lies being perpetrated in the media about her and that she was protecting her former crew by remaining silent.

Perrette, who played forensic scientist Abby Sciutoleft the CBS drama after 15 seasons.

In a statement to Variety, CBS Television Studios said they had worked with her to find a resolution, and reiterated their commitment to a “safe working environment” on all of their shows.

“Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her,” the statement read. “Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows.”

  1. The ‘alleged’ abuser must be very powerful at CBS. Thats the only reason I can find for why they got rid of the accuser and not the abuser. The truth will come out soon enough.

    1. CBS didn’t get rid of Perrette, she brought it up when she quit a year later. Perrette never said the alleged abuser was powerful, she blamed a powerful Hollywood PR machines that try to suppress things and spin things. That doesn’t work with Social Media and she believed they were behind the false stories circulating in the internet. Though she has now thanks the studio and network, who presumably wanted it clarified that it wasn’t them.
