Drama on the streets of Mudgee

Doctor Doctor cast are back in Mudgee, showcasing the central western NSW town.

Filming of Doctor Doctor‘s third season is currently underway in Mudgee, home of the fictional Whyhope.

According to actor Ryan Johnson (Matt Knight) the Nine series has helped showcase the central western NSW town.

“I’ve actually had people come up to me and say ‘we went and checked out Mudgee because of the show,” he said.

But he wasn’t giving too much away about what to expect for the third season from Easy Tiger.

“Where we left off with season two, there’s some great stuff brewing for my character that involves figuring out that he doesn’t necessarily have ownership of the farm,” he said.

“So he’s growing frustrated with that because he has so many plans for it and he doesn’t agree with the way Jim’s (Steve Bisley) doing things.”

Doctor Doctor returns later in 2018.

  1. One of the most entertaining Aussie dramas in years, in my opinion, light hearted with some dramatic elements! Thanks for the update David!
