House Rules down but multichannel brings it home for Seven
Ratings: Not all of Seven viewers are sold on House Rules, but many happily switch to Father Brown.

House Rules may have slipped last night but a large proportion of Seven’s audience went to 7TWO.
MasterChef Australia won its slot with 835,000 and topped the demos as House Rules dipped to 567,000 ahead of NRL and Budget 2018. But 7TWO’s Father Brown pulled 266,000, keeping the network competitive, and above Destination Flavour Eurovision on SBS.
In the AFL battles, The Footy Show drew 185,000 to The Front Bar‘s 183,000.
Elsewhere Show Me the Movie was up on last week, while The Handmaid’s Tale was down for SBS.
Seven network won Thursday with 29.6% then Nine 27.6%, TEN 20.5%, ABC 15.45 and SBS 7.0%.
Seven News was #1 for Seven with 955,000 / 908,000 then Home and Away (674,000), House Rules (567,000), The Chase (556,000 / 333,000) and The Front Bar (252,000 in 3 cities).
Nine News (939,000 /919,000) led for Nine followed by A Current Affair (785,000), Hot Seat (539,000 / 314,000), Thursday Night NRL (422,000 in 2 cities) and The Footy Show (414,000).
MasterChef Australia was best on TEN at 835,000 then The Project (546,000 / 359,000), TEN Eyewitness News (450,000), Show Me the Movie! (422,000) and Family Feud (331,000). Law and Order: SVU was 236,000.
ABC News (673,000), Budget 2018: Opposition Reply (410,000), 7:30 (362,000), Sammy J (315,000), Diana: Designing a Princess (312,000), QI (260,000) and Think Tank (243,000). Wentworth was just 138,000.
The Handmaid’s Tale (216,000) led SBS then Destination Flavour Eurovision (148,000), SBS World News (134,000), and Next of Kin (90,000).

Seriously, does George Calombaris really need to scream “thirty seconds left!” at the top of his lungs every single episode? It’s not like the contestants are in an airport hangar.
It got old three years ago. If I were a contestant, I would tell him to …. off.

I’m not suprised wentworth was down last night that episode was probably the worst in the shows history even I didn’t watch it it’s another great episode of masterchef after 10 years the quality is as strong as ever
Apart from News programs and Masterchef, nothing is rating really well at all. So pleased with Masterchef doing well. Such a joy to watch.
