  1. had a quick look at this tonight, even for trash tv this is rubbish lol! They have to be the most boring bunch of airheads on any reality show ever, yawn! Their personalities are so so bad that any physical hotness cannot possibly make up for the it (not that the women on this are really my type though, too skinny)

  2. As far as I am concerned, any show that encourages contestants to have with each other, something that rhymes with “ex”, don’t deserve any ratings.

  3. Just feel Sophie has picked another Lemon with this show. Can’t see it making a huge mark on the TV horizon. what l would is for programmers to stop layering shows over their network IE encores. Make a multichannel a channel dedicated to youth, a theme, retro, crime, sport, news, etc.

    1. Not quite true. It was commissioned for the multichannel as it is youth-skewing, but will drive up network share. Episode 1 won’t be delivered to Nine until tomorrow morning, so it’s very different to a show being completed and they decide it isn’t strong enough for main channel.

    1. I could tell you, but it would probably breach this site’s guidelines. Sometimes the lowest common denominator wins, it just does.

  4. Eoghan McDermott isn’t the UK narrator of Love Island, It’s Iain Stirling. They don’t even have the same accent so not sure how they’ve been confused. McDermott is Irish, while Stirling is Scottish.

Not sure if it’s an oversight by you or if you’ve just copy/pasted a press release from Channel 9?

    1. I misinterpreted this line in his bio. “Fans of the UK version will know ‘The Voice’ of Love Island is as important as the host or the Islanders themselves.” I have amended thanks.
