Report: SKY News journalist suspended

Reports claim Samantha Maiden has been suspended citing workplace behaviour.

Media reports claim SKY News journalist Samantha Maiden has been suspended, citing workplace behaviour.

Peter Ford broke the news on 3AW, followed by an item in the Australian Financial Review.

“It’s all about attitude and dealing with colleagues,” Ford said.

“I’m told the issue came to a head last Friday.”

Maiden, a former Australian, Sunday Telegraph, Seven and TEN journalist, works at SKY’s Canberra bureau.

“Samantha doesn’t think she has to do certain things, as it’s been relayed to me.”

A SKY News spokesperson told TV Tonight, “We do not comment on internal staff matters.”
