Sunday Night has confirmed limited info on its interview with Barnaby Joyce & Vikki Campion:

Seven’s Sunday Night will this weekend air an exclusive interview with Barnaby Joyce and his partner, Vikki Campion, also featuring their newborn son, Sebastian.

This is Ms Campion’s first interview since details of her relationship with Mr Joyce were made public, and she speaks candidly and emotionally about her experience.

The interview with Sunday Night’s Alex Cullen airs on Sunday at 8.30pm on Seven.

Joyce had previously requested privacy from media on family matters.

The fee, rumoured to be at $150,000, is expected to go towards a trust for Sebastian.

Peter Ford told 3AW the deal was nearly jeopardised after Seven News separately filmed the family at an airport, prompting them to pursue a 60 Minutes deal, but it was salvaged by Seven.

Last night Sunday Night copped a ratings whack with its Jacqui Lambie story.

  1. I’m watching to see if they ask him about his rorting & corruption. They’re the questions we all want answered. We have a right to know. But they will probably be as gutless as the rest of the ‘journalists’ out there. I won’t be holding my breath.

  2. It’s hypocritical of Barnaby Joyce to have previously claimed he wanted privacy and that his personal life wasn’t anyone else’s business, only to then do an interview for a current affairs program and claim a fee.
