South Australian Sashi Cheliah made MasterChef history last night becoming the first contestant in 10 seasons to hold 2 Immunity pins.
The prison officer is now the amateur cook to beat as the series nears its Top 10 contestants.
He outscored QT Melbourne’s Andy Harmer, trained by Shannon Bennett, in a lamb & peas dish.
Sashi scored 27/30 to Harmer’s 24/30 arming him with 2 pins he can use to avoid upcoming elimination challenges.
It comes in a season when Loki Madireddi became the first contestant in history to be eliminated without using an Immunity pin.

Totally agree! It’s turning out to be a decent season once again, too!
It is so nice to watch Masterchef contestants encouraging each other and generally being nice…..Channel 7 should take note !
