Foxtel feed of uncensored De Niro goes viral

Americans didn't hear Robert De Niro's message for Trump, until social media pushed out the Foxtel feed.

Warning: language

Robert De Niro got a standing ovation at the Tony Awards yesterday, not for his stage career but for a succinct soapbox moment.

“I’m going to say one thing. F*** Trump” which drew rapturous applause from the New York arts community.

“It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump’ it’s ‘F*** Trump!” he declared.

The moment was censored by CBS thanks to a 10 second delay.

“Mr. De Niro’s comments were unscripted and unexpected. The offensive language was deleted from the broadcast,” CBS said in a statement.

But Foxtel’s Live feed, which was rated M with a “Coarse Language” warning, did not need to censor it, even at a 10am timeslot.

That resulted in the uncensored footage going viral on social media allowing Americans to hear De Niro in full.

  1. Well if Trump acted like a normal decent human being then he wouldn’t draw these sorts of responses from people. You reap what you sew.

  2. Foxtel will go after people who put their feed on social media. Well maybe not as it’s not Game of Thrones vs Trump but there could be a great headline right there

  3. This won’t age well if the talks with North Korea go well not even 2 days after this

Also being lectured to by a mega millionaire will harden the ordinary voters resolve to ensure trump comes back again – dunno why the unhinged don’t understand this

  4. Ironic that two years ago this sort of disrespect for the POTUS would never have been tolerated. De Niro has just proved the degredation that is now accepted as normal. Pity he couldn’t be the bigger man. CBS did the right thing in censoring.

    1. You must have been under a rock during the frenzy Fox News whipped up about what colour suits Obama wore and the type of mustard he used on burgers.
