Heather Locklear hospitalised

Health concerns for former Melrose star, after a domestic incident at her Californian home.

Actress Heather Locklear has been hospitalised after police responded to her California home on Sunday.

“Our deputies responded, along with Ventura County Fire,” a police spokesperson said. “When we responded and contacted the person at the residence, [we] determined that there was no crime. It was strictly a medical call. There was a patient that was transported to a local hospital.”

Reports suggest her elderly parents went to their daughter’s house after she sounded distressed but things allegedly turned violent, prompting her mother to place the 911 call.

The 56 year old actress was reportedly “acting erratically” and “threatened to kill herself” but no weapons were found.

A domestic violence call was also reported in February. During an arrest, police said Locklear became combative and uncooperative.

Domestic violence charges were eventually dropped, against the former Melrose Place guest star, but she is still facing four counts of misdemeanour battery on an officer and one charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. She entered a not guilty plea in April.

She also entered a treatment facility in March.

Sources say her family is concerned for her well-being and have encouraged her to seek medical care.

She was previously rushed to hospital in 2012 after a recent split from fiance Jack Wagner.
