Jessica Marais withdraws from Logie event

Jessica Marais will not attend Sunday’s Logie Awards, pulling out for health reasons.

The Love Child and Wrong Girl star is nominated for both Gold and Silver Logies.

Her management told the Daily Telegraph, “It is with much disappointment that we advise Jessica Marais is unable to attend the TV Week Logie Awards due to her health.

“Jess is naturally disappointed, is grateful to TV Week and all the viewers who have nominated her for the Awards this year and wishes all the nominees and her friends a great celebration on Sunday night.

“We would request media to support Jessica at this time by respecting her privacy.”
