Queen’s Birthday Honours 2018: Tom Gleisner, Phillip Brady, Anne Wills.

Television personalities including Tom Gleisner, Phillip Brady and Anne Wills have been recognised in today’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Also honoured are finance expert Robert Gottleibsen, editor Jill Bilcock, writer Alison Nisselle, music historian Glenn A. Baker and Channel Seven veteran producer Gordon Bennett.

COMPANION (AC) IN THE GENERAL DIVISION OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA

For eminent service to the Australian motion picture industry as a film editor, to the
promotion and development of the profession, as a role model, and through creative
contributions to the nation’s cultural identity.

For distinguished service to the media and television industries as a writer, producer,
actor and presenter, to children living with cancer, and as a supporter of young
people with autism spectrum disorders.

MEMBER (AM) IN THE GENERAL DIVISION OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA

For significant service to the entertainment industry through promoting, preserving and
documenting popular music culture.

For significant service to the arts in New South Wales particularly to the film industry,

Updated: Network Ten congratulates Have You Been Paying Attention? host Tom Gleisner, who has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (General Division) for his services to the broadcast media and to the community.

Recognised in the Queen’s Birthday 2018 Honours list, Tom’s award is in honour of his distinguished service to the media and television industries as a writer, producer, actor and presenter, to children living with cancer, and as a supporter of young people with autism spectrum disorders.
