Socceroos score 1.66m viewers, SBS wins primary share.

Ratings: FIFA World Cup was the only game in town last night with SBS scoring a massive share.

The Socceroos may have drawn their match with Denmark last night but the FIFA World Cup grabbed the audience with both hands last night to the tune of 1.66m viewers and topping the demos.

SBS was the top rating primary channel very nearly winning the night in network share.

That left little else to trawl over last night but MasterChef still won its timeslot with 796,000.

Seven News, A Current Affair and The Chase also won their slots, leaving ABC as the only network not to claim a timeslot.

Seven network won Thursday with 26.7% then SBS 25.2%, Nine 19.2%, TEN 16.2% and ABC 12.7%.

Seven News (931,000 / 910,000) led for Seven then Home and Away (601,000), The Chase (585,000 / 377,000), Seven’s AFL (510,000). Funniest Ever Toddler Tantrums was 238,000 in 3 cities and Movie: The Blindside was 160,000 in 3 cities.

FIFA World Cup Aus v Den was #1 for SBS (1.66m), then Fra v Per (262,000), Great British Railway Journeys (251,000), Food Safari Fire (157,000 in 3 cities) and SBS World News (149,000).

Nine News (904,000 / 885,000) was best for Nine then A Current Affair (748,000), RBT (540,000), and Hot Seat (524,000 / 327,000). Britain’s Got Talent was 180,000 in 4 cities. The NRL Footy Show was 154,000.

MasterChef Australia (796,000) scored for TEN followed by The Project (515,000 / 349,000), Todd Sampson’s Body Hack 2.0 (430,000), TEN Eyewitness News (412,000) and Family Feud (297,000).  Blue Bloods was just 142,000.

On ABC it was ABC News (657,000), 7:30 (495,000), Grand Designs Australia (464,000), QI (290,000), Think Tank (241,000) and Victoria (165,000).

Love Island topped multichannels with 194,000.
