Southern Cross Television to rebrand as Seven

Southern Cross Television will drop the SCA logo and replace it with Seven branding across its markets.

Southern Cross Television will drop the SCA logo and replace it with Seven branding in Tasmania, Darwin, Remote Central and Eastern Australia, Spencer Gulf and Broken Hill markets.

In February SCA renewed its agreement with Seven for three years.

Southern Cross will continue to broadcast a one hour bulletin in Tasmania to be renamed as Seven News Tasmania and 30 minute bulletins in Broken Hill & Spencer Gulf to be known as Seven Local News.

The change takes effect from July 1st.

    1. Yes, the so-called “updates” depend on what pics can be lifted from regional newspapers and ABC. Production and presentation is worse than original local stations in the 60s.
