There is speculation (again) today about a second season of The Real Housewives of Sydney, with News Corp tipping production to begin in early 2019 with cast changes.
Unnamed sources hint at 2 new cast members, with potentially former fashion designer Rebecca Davis (bearing in mind that pushing yourself forward as a casting rumour is synonymous with the franchise).
Jackie Gillies tweeted a month ago that neither the Melbourne nor Sydney editions had been renewed at the time.
Sydney & Melbourne #Housewives have not been commissioned for next season as of yet. 👼

If the Sydney edition does resume it is indeed expected to undergo change, with Foxtel’s Brian Walsh previously expressing his disappointment with some of the agendas, and US network Bravo knocking it back as being too extreme – a first for the franchise.
Producer Kylie Washington has since departed Matchbox Pictures to become Head of Production at BBC Studios Australia.
