  1. Interesting that, for 2 weeks now, House Rules has beaten Masterchef on Sundays, but then Masterchef has been back ahead ever other day. Give it to the strong Sunday news ratings & Half hour head start

    1. Reveals of the finished house are the draw card. Same thing happens with the Block, where room reveal episodes always rate higher than the other episodes

  2. Mystery Road and Harrow show good Aussie drama can get an audience. They benefit from airing on ABC though because no ads are shown and audiences are increasingly becoming accustomed (indeed demanding) no ads interrupt them during broadcast. Commercial networks and SBS need to work out a way around this.

  3. Ughh I am still frothing at the mouth over the way The Project treated two legendary actors they had live at the desk and cut them off very short. They do this often but this would have to be the worse I have seen. Richard Dreyfuss did not look happy when they wouldn’t let him finish answering what he was asked.

    1. I thought the interview was very disappointing too. There was too much focus on the ‘me too’ campaign. I understand it’s still current news, but when you have such a short segment and a couple of movie legends, they should have stuck with their careers.

  4. Ironically The Voice for the first time this season actually finished on time – seven minutes early!! As a production I thought it was fine; Sonya is a very watchable and funny presenter. The show gets their value out of her that’s for sure; she really sparkles 🙂 (ok so you have to be of a certain age to get that reference!)
