Watching this season it is becoming clear that the shows original freshness has been replaced by the need to create a reason to continue for another season, so this story, which could be wrapped up rather quickly, has had some additional themes added and more money spent on effects. This seasons playing god theme is intriguing as far as becoming an immortal is concerned but the whole plot is becoming too constricted by physical boundaries and has a Jurassic World feel about it, as the creators try to clean up their mess, but as both stories come from the same author it’s hardly surprising.
