Season 1 of The Durrells begins this Sunday on BBC First.
It will be followed by S2 and thereafter the Australian premiere of S3.
Based on the three autobiographical books by renowned naturalist Gerald Durrell, OBE, this dramedy set in Greece in 1935 is most enjoyable. When disenchanted single mother Louisa (Keeley Hawes)
announces she’s moving her four children from Bournemouth, England to the Greek island of Corfu, their lives are turned upside-down.
8.30pm Sunday on BBC First.

Seems like an odd choice being on BBC First given the name of the channel, the age of the show, and it’s been on FTA!
… and it is an ITV production
BBC screens ITV titles in Oz, just depends who the distributor is.
