US military drama Six has been axed after 2 seasons.
The drama which tells the story of members of Navy SEAL Team 6 eliminating a Taliban leader in Afghanistan starred Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba and Edwin Hodge.
Inspired by actual events, it was written by screenwriter William Broyles Jr. and military special operations veteran David Broyles for the History channel.
It aired in Australia on SBS, which may yet screen the second season.

Hadn’t realised this was more than a single 6 part “mini series” It seemed to wind up on a reasonable conclusion. Would be happy to see the other series, even if SBS resort to streaming. Quite like Walton Goggins body of work – from The Shield to Justified, to the trans-sexual in Sons of Anarchy to even the cameo in Big Bang Theory. I thought he was well suited to his part in Six. He seems to exude that type of persona.
