A cable problem has caused Foxtel customers across NSW – as well as some in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia – to lose their connections last night.
A Telstra operator told Fairfax that operators had been notified that the problem affected all Foxtel customers whether or not they were with Telstra as internet providers.
A recorded message on Foxtel’s voicemail said that set-top boxes showing error message F106 were the result of outages.

I found that I only had half of Outpost recorded, but this wasn’t a problem since I didn’t even make it to 10 minutes. I wasn’t able to make a cup of tea during Endeavour though, without the IQ’s pause live TV function.
