Netflix confirms Locke & Key horror series

Netflix has confirmed new horror / fantasy series Locke & Key with Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill as showrunners.
A pilot was developed for Hulu featuring Frances O’Connor but she is not expected to appear in the Netflix version.
Based on a comic franchise co-created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez revolves around three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Massachusetts only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. Little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them.
Joe Hill and Aron Eli Coleite will pen the first episode of a 10 part series.

I am beyond excited for this. The graphic novel series was such a thrilling page-turner and Joe Hill is Stephen King’s son, but this is very much his work. Prepare for some real shocks and scares.
