  1. Just out of curiosity ……. How did they get Charlie even in the promos because the royals seem to steer clear of promoting commercial ventures? Would a donation have been made to one of his charities?

  2. Footy Show needs an overhaul. Get rid of Eddy and Sam and give it a more current vibe. I like Eddy but he is conflicted as host and seen as part of the establishment and still has his anger moments along with Sam. The anger moments are usually directed at an unruly public but people don’t want to be lectured. Footy for most people is a release from everyday pressures.

    1. The Footy Show made a big mistake with the appointment of Craig Hutchison and then, I believe, made a bigger one replacing him with Eddie. I think it’s too late now to get their old audience back as many who have moved to the Front Bar won’t return, no matter who’s the host.

That being said there are many that don’t like Eddie and Sam, so the removal of them might lift their ratings a little, but would nine have the courage to do so???
