Renovate for Profit with Cherie Barber: Heritage House (Botany)
Renovation Queen Cherie Barber returns to tackle a double fronted workman’s cottage from the turn of the century. Homeowner Michelle has lived in the house for almost 30 year but is finding it difficult to maintain her property on a limited budget. Ready for a sea change, she’s decided to sell up and move to the Blue Mountains, where she can buy a lower valued property and live debt free. Michelle calls on Cherie to help get her property ready for sale. The property is in desperate need of a face lift, but Cherie only has $10000 to spend. With her work cut out for her, Cherie needs some savvy thinking to help Michelle turn a profit.

Travel with Chris Brown: Crab Migration
Chris teams up with Sheree Marris, Marine Biologist, and aquatic enthusiast who takes him on an underwater adventure to experience the unique phenomenon known as the Giant Spider Crab Congregation. This annual crabfest takes place on Melbourne’s doorstep and sees hundreds of thousands of crabs come to the shallow waters to lose their shell and mate before heading back out to sea.

Food with Miguel Maestre: Brisbane Tapas
Miguel is in his element as he churns out small plates with big flavour in a Spanish tapas showdown. Miguel heads to Brisbane to catch up with Moda Restaurant’s Javier Codina and each prepare a tapa, unique to their home region in Spain. A third tapa is also prepared to represent Madrid, the country’s capital.

  1. The Living Room never fails to make me smile with its wacky PR releases.
Today we have a woman making a ” sea change ” to the Blue Mountains.
I hope she finds some nice beaches and surf breaks around Katoomba , otherwise she might consider making a ” tree change ” instead…
