Season 4 of HBO sports series returns shortly -but not where you'd expect.

Season 4 of HBO sports series Ballers will return to Foxtel shortly, but will have its debut at Foxtel On Demand rather than on Showcase.

I’m hard pressed to think of a similar circumstance and with all the channels on offer it’s very unusual to not attract a broadcast slot (especially for an HBO title). The good news is this does allow for Express from the US, screening same day.

Success hits hard. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in this series as a retired football superstar trying to reinvent himself as a financial manager for current players in sun-soaked Miami.

Mondays from August 13 at 12.00pm at Foxtel On Demand.

  1. Hi David any chance you have received any info on a return for Insecure season 3? Starts same day as Ballers on HBO in the US but have had no luck finding any Australian release. Showcase showed first two seasons reasonably close to the original broadcast.

  2. This is what they did with crashing season 2. It was on demand weekly until the season ended then the aired in on showcase. I only hope one day that the on demand on the iq and Foxtel go app would be in HD.
