Next week Seven debuts US crime procedural Deception.

The series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as Cameron Black, a superstar magician who joins the FBI as a consulting illusionist to help them solve crimes.

The cast also includes Ilfenesh Hadera, Lenora Crichlow, Justin Chon, Laila Robins, Amaury Nolasco, and Vinnie Jones.

This screened in the US in March but was cancelled at one season in May.

Superstar Las Vegas magician Cameron Black’s career may have been ruined by scandal, but he’s found another place to put his skills of deception, influence and illusion to use: the FBI.

10:30pm Wednesday August 22 on Seven.
