Friday’s memorial Harry M. Miller: 1934 – 2018 at the Capitol Theatre Sydney will air Live on SKY News Extra.

The 2 hour event to celebrate the life of the late theatrical entrepreneur and manager will be hosted by Osher Günsberg and remember some of his theatrical successes including Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar (twice) and The Rocky Horror Show.

Live performances will feature Marcia Hines, Trevor Ashley, Amanda Harrison, the Salvation Army Choir, Phil Scott performing an original parody, and John Foreman as musical director.

Speakers will include Maggie Tabberer, Deborah Hutton, Alan Jones, Michael Kirby, Jim Sharman, Brian Thomson and members of Miller’s extended family.

The event is also free and open to the public at the Capitol in Haymarket, Sydney. Doors open 10am for a 10:30am start.

Miller planned much of the event himself, declaring “The guiding mission statement for this memorial is: This is the best bloody memorial I have ever been to in my life!”
