Dance Boss down, The Block, Have You Been Paying Attention? win slots.
Ratings: Nine wins Monday, ABC shows rank second in key primetime slots.

In its third outing Dance Boss was given another drubbing by viewers, falling from 599,000 at launch to 479,000 last night landing in fourth place.
The Block won the slot with 961,000, down from 1.14m last Monday (which is technically a bigger drop) and topping the demos. ABC shows Australian Story & 7:30 sat in second place with Australian Survivor third at 651,000, a lift on last Monday’s 592,000. SBS put in a decent show at 331,000 for Inside Windsor Castle, which could finish its week on top.
Have You Been Paying Attention? won its slot with a strong 759,000 ahead of Four Corners and Doctor Doctor. Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back was well behind.
Despite topping the night with Seven News, the network endured two surmountable drops, the biggest when Home & Away started and another when Dance Boss kicked in. TEN copped their own when Street Smart began, finishing with just 244,000.
Nine network won Monday with 28.7% then Seven 24.8%, TEN 20.0%, ABC 19.4% and SBS 7.1%.
Nine News (992,000 / 977,000) was best for Nine then The Block (961,000), A Current Affair (880,000), Doctor Doctor (671,000), Hot Seat (527,000 / 321,000). Footy Classified was 174,000 in 3 cities and Dr. Christian Jessen Will See You Now was 101,000 in 2. In a late slot 100% Footy was just 36,000 in 2 cities.
Seven News was #1 for Seven with 1.1m / 1.07m then The Chase (680,000 / 404,000), Home and Away (664,000), Dance Boss (479,000), Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back (314,000). The Single Wives drew 192,000.
Have You Been Paying Attention? (759,000) was best for TEN then Australian Survivor (651,000), The Project (575,000 / 296,000), TEN Eyewitness News (405,000) and Pointless (277,000). Street Smart drew 244,000 and a Graham Norton replay was 93,000.
ABC News (785,000), Four Corners (680,000), Australian Story (664,000), 7:30 (653,000), Media Watch (623,000), Q&A (441,000) and Think Tank (248,000) comprised ABC’s night.
On SBS it was Inside Windsor Castle (331,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (180,000), SBS World News (147,000) and How to Get Fit Fast (142,000).
Peppa Pig powered to the top of multichannels at 192,000.
Sunrise: 273,000
Today: 221,000
News Breakfast: 100,000 / 48,000.

Horrendous show. CH7 need a refresh of executive producers. These ideas are so incredibly bad
Australian Story adjusted up to 679000. Four Corners adjusted down to 668000. Media Watch adjusted down to 590000. Q&A adjusted down to 400000.
Not surprised to see Survivor lifting from last week to this. Compared to the last two seasons (which were enjoyable in their own rights) this season has really stepped up in tactics and casting. In my opinion, it is now close to superior to the american version.
The two commercial morning shows are doing way less numbers than I remember…but the ABC News seems to be picking up …very well…
Dance…it is a real niche thing…not everyone’s cup of tea…certainly not for a prime time show.
Wasn’t going to tune into HYBPA after AS but as per usual the comedians and guests make me laugh in the opening minutes I kept watching 🙂 good on Ten for being #1 in its timeslot. Just shows DD being a drama will be timeshifted by many viewers including me!
We watched HYBPA live, then jumped onto 9Now to watch Doctor Doctor without any ads!
So the “Win $100,000!!!” bribe didn’t work for Dance Boss? What a shame!

I am surprised Street Smart & Single wives are still pulling numbers that high given the content, Dance boss numbers are a shame, outside of the dancing its an average show at best, but the dance’s are great and had me in stitches last night, it really is a good value, fast paced family entertainment show, thoroughly enjoyable
David, will Australian Story’s numbers be adjusted considering it ran over by 6 or 7 minutes? If so, when does that adjustment typically happen?
It can happen same day, but OzTAM doesn’t send. I usually only sight them in the weekly numbers.

Kudos to Channel One last night with the ever popular and enduring NCIS, looks like the oldies can’t get enough, even late.
Everything channel 7 has replaced X factor with has pretty much failed , except Mayb that renting out holiday houses show with Luke Jakobs ( lol ) which is weird it isn’t back on screen . Bite the bullet channel 7 and just bring back xfactor . It was their own fault with the last season making it so short and messing with the formula . Do it right and things will all be right again ??

Definitely time to buy a PVR, so many shows I want to watch lately that clash with others. I watched ABC all night and intend to watch encores or catch up of the shows I missed. When it rains it pours.
Buy two. Once you start time-shifting you’ll never watch another ad again!
And even then you need one with at a minimum a quad tuner in that will also allow you to record a secondary channel alongside a main channel (so 8 recordings at the least from 4 networks), mainly because of overruns of shows and recording clashes.
