Deep State is an okay time filler but not a totally satisfying show for me, somehow the potential screen menace of Mark Strong has not been fully exploited most likely to suit American audiences, a bit more of the Bourne Identity road show could have helped Deep State become an exciting thriller but instead it is hampered by some occasional weak acting and edited subplots that interfere with the potential on screen tension, this show cries out for a full on sociopath villain for viewers to hate.
