TEN wants to hear your feedback on 8 new shows this week.

Pilot Week is here with 8 new shows screening from Sunday – Saturday on TEN.

Audience voting on the shows after you have watched them is available at Tenplay.

And of course TV Tonight also wants to hear your feedback, which will be seen by TEN execs.

Skit Happens. Sunday, 19 August 8.00pm.
Nothing is safe from a Skit Happens parody, when the nations up-and-coming comedians including Jenna Owen, Heath Franklin, Vita Carbone, Stuart Daulman, Janis McGavin, Josh Glanc and Neel Kolhatkar join forces for Network Ten’s first sketch comedy in 12 years.

Disgrace! Sunday, 19 August 8.30pm.
The world is full of disgrace and outrage. Shunned politician Sam Dastyari and the team behind Gruen and The Chaser manage the latest outbreak of outrage in a half-hour of opinion, insight and laughs.

Drunk History. (top photo) Monday, 20 August 9.30pm.
Rhys Darby and Stephen Curry pour themselves a drink in the international hit comedy format that takes Australia’s rich, and often surprising history and re-tells it through the words of our most loved comedians and entertainers. Starring Gyton Grantley, Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann and Gretta Lee Jackson.

Taboo. Tuesday, 21 August 9.00pm.
Taboo has broken audience records in its country of origin, Belgium. The premise is as confronting as it is simple. The very funny Harley Breen spends five days and nights with members of a disadvantaged group in society and uses the experience to perform a stand-up routine about them – with the subjects sitting in the front row.

Kinne Tonight. Wednesday, 22 August 9.00pm.
Comedian Troy Kinne ditches the stress of modern life, bringing hard-working Australians a fast-paced half-hour of laughter.

Trial By Kyle. Thursday, 23 August 8.30pm.
The toughest cases, biggest celebrities and genuine disputes can only be settled by one man, radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands. As Kyle carefully unravels each case, former The Bachelor Australia star and criminal lawyer Anna Heinrich is on hand to assist in forensically analysing the evidence.

Dave. Friday, 24 August 8.30pm.
Funny-man Dave O’Neil opens the doors to his crazy life with on-air wife Emily Taheny in a half-hour narrative comedy. Expect laughter, tears and the appreciation of not being Dave.

Bring Back… Saturday Night. Saturday, 25 August 7.30pm.
Join Rove’s quest to reunite Australia’s greatest acts, bands, and television faces in a generation-bending live television show where young performers will bring back the best of the past, and old-school entertainers will be challenged with reinvention.

  1. This idea worked for the ABC, and we ended up with the fantastic The Letdown. Hope the concept works for 10, at least terrible shows will only get one airing.

  2. First night of “pilot week” was a hit and a miss for me; i really enjoyed “Disgraced!”, clever, fast and actually insightful like “Gruen”. Sadly though, and I’m really sorry to say it out loud, but “Skit Happens” was flatter than a Honey Badger promo after the 1,000th airing……..

  3. Simple will not watch Kyle Sanidland in anything. I thought Australian TV was better than that. I hope drunk history gets in as well with Taboo.

  4. I’m hoping this will be good. It’s nice to see 10 is going with comedy shows as well. I’ll probably check out everything except Trail by Kyle and Disgrace!

  5. Great idea, excellent way to test the audience without wasting time making crap no one will watch. Saying that, 90% of these sound/look awful. I’ve missed Rove, though! I’ll watch him, and I’ve always liked Dave O’Neill so I’ll give that a watch, too 🙂

  6. You mean I say ? Good on channel 10 for some thinning different Hope at least one show is successful and is made in to a permanent series in the future

  7. I truly endorse the pilot week and will watch every show. I feel its a fresh approach in allowing viewers to voice their opinions before they go into production. Test marketing is done by many companies today so why not television. Raspberries to the knockers I day…..
