Respected broadcaster Helen Dalley has resigned from SKY News after 11 years.
She announced on Twitter, “Personal/professional news: after 11 triffic years at @SkyNewsAust &@SkyBusiness I have resigned, want 2 explore new projects/challenges, :look frwd 2next chapter & new opportunities. This is my last week at @SkyBusiness @SkyNewsAust it’ll b bittersweet work w fab team here❤️”
Dalley joined SKY News in 2007 following her years at Nine, including on the Sunday program.
A previous United Nations Media Peace Award, she has presented National News Sunday and News Now with Helen Dalley for SKY.
She denied it was in any way connected with the saga surrounding Blair Cottrell.
