Nine nabs annual Perth fireworks

Nine Perth has secured the broadcast rights to the 2019 City of Perth’s Australia Day Skyworks.

Seven Perth has been screening the event for 22 years.

Nine Perth’s Managing Director, Clive Bingwa, said: “Nine Perth is extremely proud to be aligned with such an iconic community event, which attracts 250,000 people to the Perth foreshore.

“We are looking forward to bringing a new level of energy and innovation to the Perth Skyworks, further enhancing WA’s premier public event.”

In 2019 Nine also broadcasts Perth’s Hopman Cup.
