Renewed: RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars

Reality series spin-off, which screens on Stan, is getting a fourth season.

US reality series RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars has been renewed for a fourth season.

A spin-off of RuPaul’s Drag Race, it sees contestants from past seasons compete to earn a title, cash prize and a place in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame.”

“This franchise is truly a force to be reckoned with,” said Pamela Post, head of scripted for VH1, MTV and Logo. “Our passionate and talented Queens continue to speak to our diverse fans who are not only looking for entertainment, but also the encouragement and inspiration to be their unique selves.”

Both RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars screen in Australia on Stan.

  1. All Stars formatting has been misguided, particularly series 3 where control was given to the contestants to decide the winner (but also the seasons where they had to team up throughout). I would prefer that they also changed up the judging panel for All Stars like they do on Project Runway so the main show judges don’t come with prior (judging) familiarity of the competitors. Having a different All Stars host would also be interesting, but I guess that’s unlikely given the show’s title. Does anyone know what happened about the long-promised British version of Drag Race?
