SBS lifts share, Nine wins Tuesday.

Ratings: The Block & True Story lead slots for Nine, while Filthy Rich & Homeless debuts well for SBS.

SBS series Filthy Rich & Homeless performed quite well for the network averaging 387,000 viewers, just ahead of its 2017 series on 354,000. For one brief moment at the end of the show it even had the biggest audience on air.

The Block continues to dominate at 7:30 on 918,000 and topping the demos. Australian Survivor, 7:30 / Foreign Correspondent followed with Dance Boss on an ugly 481,000.

That made life difficult for the return of 800 Words at 507,000 for Seven, well down on 855,000 for the premiere of the first half of the season last September. True Story with Hamish & Andy won the slot with 634,000, down from last week’s 749,000. Next behind Seven were Catalyst, Filthy Rich & Homeless then Bull in a new 9pm Tuesday timeslot.

Seven News won its slot along with ACA and The Chase.

Nine network won Tuesday with 30.1% then Seven 26.9%, TEN 17.5%, ABC 16.8% and SBS 8.7%.

Nine News (930,000 / 907,000) was best for Nine then The Block (918,000), A Current Affair (807,000), True Story with Hamish & Andy (634,000), Hot Seat (525,000 / 312,000) and Kath & Kim repeats (346,000 / 291,000).

Seven News was #1 for Seven with 1.02m / 975,000 then Home and Away (667,000), The Chase (588,000 / 371,000), 800 Words (507,000), Dance Boss (481,000) and Killer Tapes (204,000).

Australian Survivor (634,000) led for TEN then The Project (512,000 / 280,000), TEN Eyewitness News (377,000), Pointless (238,000) and Bull (237,000). NCIS: LA was 154,000.

ABC News (755,000), 7:30 (577,000), Foreign Correspondent (502,000), Catalyst (456,000), Search for Second Earth (250,000) and Think Tank (231,000) comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was Filthy Rich and Homeless (387,000), Great Indian Railway Journeys (312,000), Dateline (248,000), SBS World News (143,000) and The Chef’s Line (68,000).

7mate’s Highway Patrol topped multichannels at 206,000.

  1. Studio 10 numbers just keep dropping. Peter Ford has tweeted that Denise Drysdale has resigned from the show. Must be getting close to death knell.

  2. As a huge fan of 800 Words I was a bit disillusioned by the storylines and slow pace of last nights ep. If these silly relationship storylines continue for much longer I’m afraid I may quickly lose interest.
