Seven snatches ratings week from Nine

Seven can thank AFL for its surprise win last week after Nine led the week until Thursday night.

Nine’s Block dominated the week but in what should have been a Nine victory, Seven managed an upset with Friday and Saturday shares. Nine’s primary channel stayed in front.

  1. Nine will not win another until the AFL is finished looking at that trend where Nine lead up to Thursday or Friday and then Seven win by huge margins Friday and Saturday

  2. I’m not surprised at all. Nine are often leading the week until Friday and Saturday, when Seven takes over. The Block did well for Nine last week, but the numbers weren’t so good that they were going to win the week for Nine. It’s become a very familiar pattern, even during State of Origin.
