SKY News on WIN launching early September

SKY News shows will be seen in WIN's regional markets from Sept. 2nd.

New 24 hour channel SKY News on WIN will launch in 30 markets across  Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory at 6am on Sunday 2 September.

SKY News content will include Speers, Credlin, The Bolt Report, Outsiders, Jones & Co, Richo, Politics HQ, Paul Murray Live and Kenny on Sunday and presenters inclusing Paul Murray, David Speers, Andrew Bolt, Laura Jayes, Kieran Gilbert, Ashleigh Gillon, Peta Credlin and Alan Jones.

Jaynie Seal will host new breakfast program Headline News every 15 minutes on weekdays from 6:00am-8:30am (simulcast on WIN Channel 008/080 and Sky News Weather, Foxtel Channel 603.

Warren Mundine will also host a second season of Mundine Means Business highlighting the success and entrepreneurship of Australia’s Indigenous communities.

Angelos Frangopoulos, CEO, Australian News Channel said: “We are excited to announce our program line-up for SKY News on WIN including the launch of Headline News which will provide viewers with a snapshot of the news they need to know for the day ahead, featuring for the first time in a breakfast show, content from across regional Australia thanks to the resources of WIN News.”

Headline News will be simulcast on WIN’s main channel as well as SKY News on WIN which will provide our viewers with a live breakfast news program with a focus on regional issues.”

SKY News has also announced Your Money channel to air on Nine network.

  1. “I would rather the one with the great dramas”. No doubt WIN would like that too, but a tiny matter of rights etc.
    As least WIN is filling some of the holes left by TEN. A morning show and two soaps in the afternoon. Yes, they may be a few years old but most would not have seen them since Nine dumped them, only 30% or so having Foxtel.

  2. I expect the deal with Nine for the Your Money channel will be off now they have announced the Fairfax takeover (sorry I mean ‘merger’)

  3. Well that’s a riveting line up which I won’t be watching. If we’re getting a foxtel channel I would rather the one with the great dramas I’m always missing out on.
