Wolf Creek 3 on hold?

Yet to be formally announced, but thriller's third season in jeopardy following charges against John Jarratt.

Plans for a third season of Wolf Creek appear to have been put on hold following star John Jarratt to face allegations of sexual assault.

Fairfax, part owner of Stan, reports that season two of the series will not be released in the US in October, as planned, until the case is resolved.

The US distributor is also a major investor in the upcoming Wolf Creek season three, which is yet to begin production. Indeed it is yet to be announced.

Jarratt has denied the allegations, which stem back 42 years ago. His lawyer Chris Murphy told Fairfax Media, “An accusation is made without any supporting evidence 42 years after an alleged incident, which is totally denied, and it will take two years from the time the allegation was made to be resolved.

“Now he is facing an old age pension to survive. He is keen to work, keen to answer the allegation at one minute’s notice in a court or any forum, but until then everything is on hold.”

Stan and Screentime declined to comment.
