Ratings: Nine was winning the week, and then along came the AFL Finals.

AFL Finals have helped Seven to a winning week, with huge shares on Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

Nine was leading the week after Wednesday but the AFL moved Seven into a winning position. It took over a 43% share on Saturday alone.

Seven won 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 demos.

Nine won Sunday – Wednesday. Seven scored Thursday – Saturday. TEN defeated Nine on Thursday. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday, Monday, Friday & Saturday.

Seven claimed victory in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine retained Sydney & Brissy.

Best brands last week were:

Seven: Seven News (950,000), Little Big Shots (719,000) and Seven’s AFL (830,000).

Nine: The Block (Sun: 1.23m), Nine News (Sun 1.07m) and 60 Minutes (775,000).

TEN: The Bachelor (Thurs: 905,000) and Have You Been Paying Attention? (786,000).

ABC: Australian Story (690,000) and Anh’s Brush with Fame (683,000).

SBS: Great Indian Railway Journeys (341,000).

  1. I see Seven has booted the dating show tonight in favour of more Little Big Shots…
    Not long until double episodes of Joel and Co to burn another expensive flop quickly.
    Really , doesn’t anyone take the fall for this and all the other dross they have dished out ?
