Nine has announced a new 4 episode AFL show, The Trade Table, covering footy’s trade period.

It will be hosted by former Port Adelaide star and Sunday Footy Show panellist Kane Cornes, journalist Damian Barrett, and former Essendon champ and Footy Classified and Sunday Footy Show member, Matthew Lloyd.

As we prepare for an explosive trade period in October, The Trade Table will be front and centre with exclusive news, updates and interviews. This is the only dedicated program on the AFL exchange period on free-to-air television.

With some of the AFL’s biggest names ready to switch clubs, there is nothing in the AFL trade period that will happen without The Trade Table covering it.

The show will go to air on four nights next month: Monday October 1, at 10.00pm, and then Monday October 8, Monday October 15, and Wednesday October 17.

The Trade Table is produced for Channel Nine by Rainmaker and Crocmedia.

10pm Mondays on Nine (Melb / Ade / Per).

  1. I’m disappointed that it isn’t on here in QLD too. In this day and age with all the digital channels, there is no excuse. It could be screened later on GEM. I’m still perplexed why Nine did not screen the final edition of Footy Classified (in SE QLD)on GEM late last Tuesday night/early Wed morn and screened an episode of My Favorite Martian instead 🙁
