Block delivers arresting Tuesday for Nine

Ratings: Exposed: The Case of Keli Lane leads viewing from 9pm. Australian Survivor is up for TEN.

Trouble on The Block saw police arrest two tradies for theft, but it all led to a Nine win last night at 978,000 and topped the demos. Australian Survivor enjoyed a lift at 696,000 running until 9pm. 7:30, Foreign Correspondent and Take Me Out followed.

From 9pm it was a tight battle with Exposed: The Case of Keli Lane edging ahead on 560,000 (from 8:30pm) over 800 Words, a True Story with Hamish & Andy repeat, Bull and Insight.

Seven News, also up to 978,000, won its slot as did ACA and The Chase.

Nine network won Tuesday with 31.5% then Seven 24.1%, TEN 19.5%, ABC 17.5% and SBS 7.5%.

The Block tied at #1 for Nine at 978,000 then Nine News (953,000 / 935,000), A Current Affair (817,000), True Story with Hamish & Andy (610,000 / 429,000), and Hot Seat (529,000 / 314,000). Footy Classified was 179,000 in 3 cities.

Seven News tied at#1 for Seven at 978,000 / 953,000 then Home and Away (625,000), The Chase (620,000 / 390,000), 800 Words (506,000) and Take Me Out (426,000). Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back was 192,000.

Australian Survivor (696,000) led for TEN then The Project (511,000 /304,000), TEN Eyewitness News (362,000), Bull (307,000 /213,000) and Pointless (251,000).

ABC News (724,000), 7:30 (582,000), Exposed: The Case of Keli Lane (560,000), Foreign Correspondent (498,000), and David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies (248,000), comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was Great Continental Railway Journeys (315,000), Insight (196,000),  Dateline (146,000) and The Feed: Sex in Japan (84,000).

ABC KIDS’ Octonauts topped multichannels at 173,000.

  1. The SBS ‘Sex in Japan’ thing was shown early evening on SBS2 then late evening on SBS1 and then early AM on SBS2 again!-can’t remember that happening before for that sort of program-pretty good showing for the SBS trains considering they’re well repeated eps…

  2. Ten are finishing burning off S2, the last two eps are on next Tuesday. They have been advertising the new season of NCIS as coming soon, it may get the slot after that.
