New Attenborough series, Dynasties.

Next blue-chip Attenborough series to highlight five of the world’s most celebrated but endangered animals.

Sir David Attenborough has a new wildlife series on the way, Dynasties.

The 5 part series from BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit, highlights five of the world’s most celebrated but endangered animals, as they do whatever it takes to survive and protect the next generation.

Taking over four years to produce, it has been pre-sold to Germany, New Zealand, Canada, Latin America, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Georgia.

Paul Dempsey, President Global Markets for BBC Studios, commented: “Following the huge global success of Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II, Dynasties is generating a lot of excitement in the market. Once again the Natural History Unit has surpassed itself with an incredibly intimate and affecting portrait of some of the most celebrated and endangered species on earth.”

An Australian broadcaster (likely to be Nine) is yet to be announced.

  1. 2018 Christmas present sorted!!! The only difference is that Amazon UK wont be getting our money this time.

No way will I wait 4-5 months just so that we can watch a butchered version broadcast on Nine …. so that they can fit in their frequent ad breaks.
