Nine leads primary channels, Seven wins ratings week.

Ratings: In a carbon copy of the week before, Nine was headed to a win before an AFL upset.

Another week, another win to Seven thanks largely to AFL finals.

Nine was again winning the week, on the back of The Block up until Friday. But Seven’s two big shares on Friday and Saturday -at 42% and 39% respectively- brought it home once more.

Nine managed to stay in front on primary shares and demos.  Elsewhere TEN & SBS were up, while ABC was down.

Nine led in 16-39 and 25-54 demos.

Nine won Sunday – Wednesday. Seven won Thursday – Saturday. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday, Friday & Saturday.

Seven won Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth, Nine was victorious in Sydney & Brissy.

Best brands last week were:

Nine: The Block (Sun: 1.23m), Nine News (Sun: 1.07m), 60 Minutes (775,000) and True Story with Hamish & Andy (719,000).

Seven: AFL (Sat: 951,000), Seven News (950,000), Little Big Shots (719,000) and Home and Away (626,000).

TEN: The Bachelor (Thurs: 905,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (786,000), Gogglebox (764,000), Australian Survivor (Tues: 668,000).

ABC: Australian Story (690,000), ABC News (685,000), Anh’s Brush with Fame (683,000), The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (618,000).

SBS: Great Indian Railway Journeys (341,000), Andre the Giant (262,000), Great British Railway Journeys (261,000) and Joanna Lumley: The Quest for Noah’s Ark (229,000).
