Returning: The Walking Dead

This series will start with a timeskip and will be Andrew Lincoln's final season.

Season 9 of The Walking Dead begins in early October.

  1. AMC keep cutting the budget and firing the show runner and replacing them with more compliant writers with no showrunning experience. This seasons lucky winner is Angela Kang. She wrote the fake death of Glen, the nadir of the first six seasons. The writing under Gimple was terrible in S7 & 8, with stupid plotting and gimmicks and they totally screwed up all the characters. I found very little of it even watchable. Once they stopped dragging out how they killed of Madison for half a season, this season of Fear The Walking dead has been much better, with Morgan back in form. Even if it is shot in B&W.

  2. The show jumped the shark last season with Negan standing in front of them all in the first couple episodes and not one of them shot him, then they spent the rest of the season trying to take him out. They lost millions of viewers in the US throughout the season which is a shame, as it actually got a lot better in the last few episodes.

    1. Yes that’s all she does now… but only because the writers completely stuffed up her character after the brilliant season 4/5 for her…
She was the mvp of the cast for a while before they made the baffling decision to make her character “not kill” in a show that if you don’t kill… you will be killed… bizarre.
