The Family Law final season to premiere at Adelaide Film Festival

Final season of SBS comedy will see Benjamin coming out of the closet.

The third and final season of The Family Law will have its World Premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival on October 17.

The series based on the memoirs of writer Benjamin Law features Trystan Go, Fiona Choi and Anthony Brandon Wong. Although the show carries a Queensland backdrop, producers Matchbox Pictures also have a new Adelaide-based office, hence the SA premiere.

SBS is yet to announce a broadcast date, due later this year.

Everyone’s favourite dysfunctional Chinese-Australian family return in the third and final spin of The Family Law. This time around there’s an added dose of hormone-induced angst and awkward, sexual fumbling – and that’s just the adults. As Jenny dives headfirst into the giddy world of new romance, a mildly terrified Benjamin delves into the heady world of booze-drenched teen parties and unwanted sexual attraction, before finally facing up to hard truths about himself. Watch as the Laws come of age, come prematurely (sorry) and, finally, come out of the closet in a simply fabulous finale.
