Tuesday under the magic million

Ratings: The Block tops Tuesday as Nine wins the night. Take Me Out holds steady but is fourth in its slot.

No single show managed to tick over the magic million last night, but Nine won the night leading from 7pm.

The Block topped the night and the demos with 987,000, down slightly on last Tuesday’s 1.03m. Australian Survivor and 7:30 followed then Take Me Out also down slightly on last week, from 513,000 to 504,000. Foreign Correspondent and SBS trains brought up the rear.

Overruns notwithstanding True Story with Hamish & Andy led at 640,000, but that was down by a hefty 104,000. 800 Words was on par with last week at 479,000. Catalyst, Bull and Insight all followed.

Seven News, ACA and The Chase won slots again.

Nine network won the night with 31.3% then Seven 26.3%, TEN 18.4%, ABC 16.5% and SBS 7.5%.

The Block was #1 with 987,000 then Nine News (895,000 / 860,000), A Current Affair (781,000), True Story with Hamish & Andy (640,000 / 508,000), Hot Seat (473,000 / 286,000) and Kath & Kim (295,000 / 212,000).

Seven News (937,000 / 919,000) led for Seven then Home and Away (642,000), The Chase (575,000 / 343,000), Take Me Out (504,000) and 800 Words (479,000). QE2: The World’s Greatest Cruise Ship was 193,000.

Australian Survivor (664,000) led for TEN then The Project (500,000 / 318,000), TEN Eyewitness News (376,000), Pointless (271,000) and Bull (257,000). NCIS: LA  was just 112,000.

ABC News (709,000), 7:30 (556,000), Foreign Correspondent (437,000), Catalyst (382,000) and David Attenborough’s Conquest of the Skies (232,000), comprised ABC’s night.

On SBS it was Great Continental Railway Journeys (294,000), Insight (231,000), Dateline 9140,000) and SBS World News (139,000). The Chef’s Line was 63,000.

Today Extra: 92,000 / 73,000
Studio 10: 54,000 / 51,000 / 38,000

Peter Rabbit hopped to the top of multichannels at 212,000.

    1. Extravagant prize. A weekend on the Gold Coast paid for by a WebJet contra. They don’t even get a year’s supply of washing powder or a Greek Islands cruise like “If You Are The One”.

        I think you forgot the word “down” in there.

        Watched a little of that show, Joel Creasey is great, but the rest of the show is awful
