UK developing local Family Food Fight

Australia, US and now UK board diverse reality format.

Endemol Shine Australia series Family Food Fight is planning a British adaptation.

Family Food Fight UK is being developed by Endemol Shine’s production company Remarkable Television for Channel 4’s daytime schedule.

Deadline reports that it hasn’t been handed a full commission and a deal hasn’t been signed yet.

But a casting call went out, noting, “We’re looking for teams made up of three family members. We don’t mind what combination of family members you choose, but we’d love to see different generations represented if at all possible. Please only apply if you can field a team of three family members and note that all team members must be 18 or over.”

ABC US recently announced an adaptation to be hosted by author Ayesha Curry.

Nine has been filming a second season expected to air in late October.

One Response

  1. I am surprised that there are several international versions (US, UK & Argentina) has been spun-off from Family Food Fight.

Why networks would want to put their eggs in this basket (given last year’s numbers) is beyond me.
