Ultimate Beastmaster: trailer

Dannii Minogue and Nick Cummins host the Australian leg of Netflix contest.

Dannii Minogue and Nick Cummins host the Australian leg of Netflix obstacle course, Ultimate Beastmaster.

Both were announced as hosts before their recent Aussie shows, Dance Boss and The Bachelor, respectively.

More than 100 competitors from nine countries will compete on the giant obstacle course in the series co-produced by Sylvester Stallone.

A “Beastmaster” is crowned at the end of each episode, with the nine individual winners from each episode competing in a finale for the chance to become the Ultimate Beastmaster. The show features different hosts for different broadcast territories.

The nine countries taking part are the US, Germany, Brazil, Italy, France, South Korea, Mexico and, for the first time, UK & Australia.

  1. And at the risk of just talking to myself… there’s now a separate program on Netflix labelled Ultimate Beastmaster Australia, which uses Dannii and Nick as the lead commentators.

  2. Given how repetitive this show is episode after episode I still really enjoy it.
Dannii and Nick are good as the Aust hosts, but some of the other countries hosts still manage to steal the show (at least in the first few eps I’ve watched)

  3. Presumably this season we will get a localised edit where these two are our primary commentators and not the US pair?

I love the way this show lets you hear from all the different nations’ commentary teams throughout an episode. And good to see they’re bringing back lots of the previous pairs that were so entertaining!
