Today Extra‘s co-host David Campbell is a fan of Ozark, Luke Cage and Arrested Development.

Here’s what else makes his watch list:

1. What shows are on your must-see TV list lately?
I have so much backed up at the moment. Obviously Today Extra is up there. However I just started Ozark after Sonia kept harassing me and it’s brilliant. Lisa and I loved Who is America on Stan. We are also addicted to The Block this season. Then I am all superheroes. So I am finishing Luke Cage S2. Begrudgingly starting S2 of Iron Fist but really waiting for Daredevil S3 to start. I also need to re-watch Rick and Morty and the latest Arrested Development. But I also have to sleep.

2. What’s your preferred genre to watch and which shows are current highlights?
I like catching up on News and Late Night TV from the US. So after all the bad stuff I like to laugh with Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers Samantha Bee and John Oliver. Outside of nerd stuff and that my TV is dominated by kids shows. Ben and Holly is massive right now. Yo Gabba Gabba is a family favourite.

3. Which guilty pleasure show are you reluctant to admit to watching?
Our big guilty pleasure, though I don’t think you should be ashamed of your viewing, is RuPaul’s Drag Race. I think it’s the best of the American Reality Comp shows. It’s funny, entertaining and at times incredibly moving.

4. When and how do you enjoy a solid binge session?
With kids and work I often miss binge watching things. It can take a few weeks for me or I just miss important binges. I have still not seen Big Little Lies for instance and I have to start that.

5. What TV drama or comedy would you love to be part of?
I am not sure I would be great at drama though I would give my soul to be in a superhero show. I also don’t think I could do a great comedy like Brooklyn Nine-Nine as I am a terrible giggler.

6. What’s coming up on Today Extra for the rest of the year and what’s your best point of difference?
Our show is always fun for us. We have a great team who knows what works for Son and I and always seem to challenge us. So coming up We will probably laugh too much. Make really bad jokes. Our team will make us cry at random videos they find. Stumble over our words and somehow make television. I think the connection Sonia and I have is rare. We really know each other. We can set up jokes for the other one in any situation. We can laugh at each other and ourselves. It’s still hilarious 7 years in.
