WIN TV has closed down its production unit in Toowoomba, ending a long run of local production. Only a small number of roles were affected by the change.
In a statement to TV Tonight, WIN TV said, “The WIN Network’s Toowoomba branch has closed down its Production Department. The team produced great work and were highly respected creatives in their field.
“Today there are so many small competitive options in the market, alternate creative video production is in easy reach for all of our clients and our local WIN sales team will point them in the right direction.
“All three staff were given an opportunity to stay with the company in other areas of the business but have decided embark on new challenges.
“We wish them well and thank them for their past contributions to the business.”
