Your Money channel: guide

Here is the programming line-up for new New / SKY News channel from October 1.

New business & finance channel will launch at 6am Monday October 1 on both Channel 95 (formerly Extra) and Foxtel channel 601 (formerly SKY News Business).

The joint venture between Nine and Australian News Channel (aka SKY News) will feature business news, personal finance, real estate coverage, luxury and lifestyle programming.

Appearing are business journalists Ticky Fullerton, James Daggar-Nickson, Ingrid Willinge, Leo Shanahan, Leanne Jones and Adam Creighton, plus Real Estate hosts Sophie Hull and James Treble.

Also announced today, Your Money will feature a new primetime business program airing live each weeknight from 6:00pm-8.30pm. Your Money Live hosted by Brooke Corte and Chris Kohler, will take audiences inside the world of wealth, covering everything from the big business stories to personal finance and ways to grow, protect and spend your money. Each weeknight Brooke and Chris will help make sense of the day’s events, cut through the jargon and present complex finance stories in an entertaining and engaging way.

From 8:30pm each weeknight audiences can tune into bespoke programs, including Money Talks with Peter Switzer (Mondays), Swipe with James Daggar-Nickson for all things technology (Tuesdays), CarAdvice with Paul Maric and Trent Nikolic (Wednesdays), Entrepreneurs with Jack Delosa (Thursdays) and Business Class with James Wilkinson (Fridays).

Weekday programming begins with Business Breakfast at 6:00am with Leanne Jones detailing everything you need to know before the Australian market opens, from the latest Wall Street moves to expectations for the Asian trading day ahead.

Then from 9:00am, Trading Day: The Countdown with James Daggar-Nickson sets-up the local session, featuring experts from the nation’s top banks and brokerages and all the morning’s breaking news.

From 10:00am James hosts Trading Day: The Open providing up-to-the-minute coverage of the corporate and economic news moving Australian markets with in-depth analysis from expert guests and featuring interviews with some of the nation’s business leaders.

From 11:00am right through to 4:00pm, every minute counts on Trading Day Live. Hosts Ingrid Willinge and Adam Creighton bring you continuing coverage of the local trading session as it unfolds, along with analysis of the big economic news of the day. They’re joined by some of the country’s top business minds, economists and investors. At 1:00pm share market experts are on hand to answer your questions.

From 4:00pm on Trading Day: The Final Count the Your Money team take a deep-dive into the day’s big market movers and the corporate stories of the day, getting you across everything you need to know ahead of the US market open.

Business and politics meet each weekday at 5:00pm as award-winning business journalist Ticky Fullerton hosts the flagship business program Ticky. Featuring exclusive top-floor interviews with Australia’s corporate elite, leading economists, regulators and political figures, along with the best in national and international business news. Business Reporter Leo Shanahan joins Ticky with live breaking business news and exclusives.

Nightly from 11.30pm join the Fox Business Network US team as they break down international market moves alongside industry titans and economic experts.

Saturdays from 8.30am Sophie Hull and James Treble host Auction Day, the only Australian real estate show featuring live auctions from around the country. Auction Day is an essential guide to the nation’s hottest real estate, with expert advice on buying, selling, investing and improving your property.

Your Money will also launch on yourmoney.com.au, along with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Online, Your Money will feature exclusive business, wealth, real estate and lifestyle content, along with all the highlights from the TV channel.

    1. +1 I agree however considering the merger between 9 and Fairfax, that we are getting this at all is a bonus.

      Having a finance driven multi channel is certainly better than home shopping. (ok it did some religious and community/education programming as well but it was primarily home shopping)

    1. I watch this as well. If this week is their last show I guess they will tell us on Thursday (27 Sep)

      Currently, the Foxtel TV guide makes no mention of it on Thursday October 4. As per this link

      It will be sad to see it go, that leave media watch on the ABC as the only video based media commentary show in Australia. (there are a few podcasts left)
