ACMA spokesperson to depart

Media watchdog spokesperson is departing after 7 years to join ACCC.

Emma Rossi, manager of media and communications at the Australian Communications and Media Authority will depart after 7 years, to join the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Rossi is a former reporter at Seven News, Nine News and SKY News.

ACMA thanked Rossi in an internal communications noting, “Emma has also been the face of the ACMA, doing a range of TV, blog and video interviews… In expertly managing the ACMA’s media interactions, Emma does a lot of amazing work behind the scenes that few people see and she is always available to respond to the 24/7 news cycle.

“I am sure that you will all join me in thanking Emma for her significant contributions to the ACMA over many years and wish her every success in this new chapter of her professional career. We will certainly all miss her strong connections to the media sector, her vivacious laughter and her general enthusiasm for life and people.”

Rossi wraps up at ACMA on 1 November 1st.
