Ratings: SBS high on Tuesday, Seven wins the night.

TEN appears to have a new success on its hands with Ambulance Australia winning its timeslot last night at 684,000 viewers.
The factual, featured last week on Gogglebox, was without competition from The Block last night but grew from last week’s 582,000 and topped younger demos.
Young Sheldon followed with 611,000 viewers then 7:30 and Take Me Out at 489,000.
The Good Doctor won its slot at 613,000 viewers just ahead of Big Bang at 602,000 with the latter topping older demos. Catalyst, FBI and Insight followed – SBS scored a hefty share for the night.
Seven News, ACA and The Chase won their slots once more.
Seven network won Tuesday with 28.3% then Nine 27.0%, TEN 18.4%, ABC 17.0% and SBS 9.3%.
Nine News (843,000 / 836,000), A Current Affair (713,000), Young Sheldon (611,000 / 550,000), The Big Bang Theory (602,000 / 528,000), Hot Seat (X455,00 / 271,000) and Kath & Kim (257,000 / 240,000).
Seven News (943,000 / 923,000) led for Seven then The Good Doctor (613,000), The Chase (516,000 / 317,000), Take Me Out (489,000) and The Resident (247,000).
Ambulance Australia (684,000) was best for TEN then The Project (468,000 / 253,000), TEN Eyewitness News and FBI (both 366,000), NCIS: LA (239,000) and Pointless (211,000).
ABC News (680,000), 7:30 (589,000), Catalyst (403,000), Invictus Games Today (400,000), comprised ABC’s night. David Attenborough’s Rise of the Animals was 264,000.
On SBS it was Insight (317,000), Michael Portillo’s Abandoned Britain (276,000), Dateline (224,000) and SBS World News (145,000).
7mate’s Highway Patrol topped multichannels at 175,000.

The Narrator for Ambulance is Lisa Wilkinson. I really like Ambulance and think its much better than Paramedics. I watched it on Tenplay last night. There is too much to watch on Tuesday, so I am interested in repeats and Tenplay. This is one Channel 10 should repeat and promote.
Ambulance draws me in, despite sometimes being a little too realistic. However it strikes the essential balance between real stories (some dramatic, some just sweet), the personalities and insights of the ambos, and some factual info about how the system works.
Hopefully, viewers will learn not to use 000 like Uber eats from now on.

Agree, I like The Good Doctor/Resident combo to. It’s good this season that we get other character backgrounds on The Good Doctor and Im still enjoying it.
i just watched Ambulance Aust. on Tenplay….not an ad in sight….It was again…excellent…Endemol/Shine have done a really good job… ??⭐
I saw Ambulance last week as there was nothing else that interested me. I thought it would be rubbish but it was really interesting. It was well put together and flowed well. 10 may have another Bondi Rescue on their hands, another program I didn’t want to like but did.
Ambulance is very well made, paving and everything is spot on! Well done ten for getting it right…. pls don’t flood us with more observationals though ?
Liking the Good Doctor / Resident combo. I watch via catchup and usually switch up the order just because I can.
David, do you think Ambulance Aus featuring on Gogglebox last week so beautifully would’ve impacted on that rise in ratings at all? I know I tuned in because of it.

A lot of people have discovered and enjoyed the UK version recently. I tuned in to see if the Aus version is as good (it is, if not better) and I never watch Gogglebox. So maybe they are pulling viewers from a variety of places.
